Geotechnical Design Engineer

Our client is a highly successful civil and structural engineering consultancy, with ambitions for further and expansion.

They''re now looking to recruit a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join their team near Exeter, and work collaboratively with their permanent and temporary works engineers on a wide range of exciting projects, nationally.

They need someone with the following experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years geotechnical design experience.
• A degree in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering.
• Sound knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and soil and rock mechanics.
• Experience with the design of foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and/or slope stability.
• Experience using recognised geotechnical analysis and design software.
• Confidence communicating technical information to colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), or actively working towards ICE chartership.
