Brat Climpsons Arch is a dynamic and passionate neighbourhood restaurant serving seasonal wood-fired dishes in a unique courtyard space beneath the arches of London Fields. We place great importance on our relationships with suppliers and ensure staff are well informed about the produce we use. Located in the space where Chef Tomos Parrys independent cooking style first took shape, the restaurant reflects that same energy. Our menu and wine list change daily. Brat x Climpsons Arch is a friendly, enthusiastic restaurant that offers the chance to work with some of the best produce in the UK while building strong culinary knowledge and skill.

We are a restaurant that celebrates cooking over fire with a daily changing blackboard menu. Brat x Climpson''s Arch is a dynamic and exhilarating restaurant space, where we have created unique events and collaborations over the years, as well as private hires, large table parties and occasional dance floor! It''s a special opportunity to create daily menu''s alongside hosting some unique events, where you will collaborate with a dynamic, forward thinking and exciting team to build some memorable occasions.

while ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently, commercially, and in line with our long-term vision. Youll work closely with our Operations Director, senior leadership, and supply team to shape menus, train future leaders, and build a kitchen environment where standards stay high and ideas move fast.

What youll be doing:Menu Development and Food QualityLeading the development of exceptional dishes that align with our food ethosMaintaining consistency and excellence across all food prep and presentationRunning regular menu reviews and tastings to refine and elevate the guest experienceUsing guest feedback and kitchen performance to shape menus and training focus

Leadership and Team DevelopmentLeading from the front

building a kitchen culture of accountability, trust, and energyDriving development through regular one-to-ones, appraisals, and structured feedbackCreating an environment where the team feels supported, ambitious, and proud of the foodCollaborating closely with Ops and People teams to support succession and internal progression

Sourcing, Supply and ProductMaintaining deep knowledge of our ingredients, suppliers, and sourcing standardsWorking with our Head of Sourcing and Head Butcher to ensure exceptional product integrityNurturing supplier relationships and embedding product education into team development

Financial AccountabilityOwning food cost, stock, and margin performance

aligned to EBITDA targetsCo-owning site PandL with the General Manager, ensuring shared accountabilityEnsuring full compliance with company financial practices and systems

Operational ExcellenceLeading compliance in food safety, health and safety, HR policy and site administrationMaintaining a 5* EHO standard and ensuring that systems, reporting, and records are watertightFlagging and managing kitchen maintenance issues proactively and efficiently

What youll bring:A seasoned Head Chef with experience in high-volume, quality-driven restaurantsSomeone with a calm, focused leadership style and a passion and understanding of fresh seasonal produceA commercially aware operator who understands that great kitchens run on numbers as well as creativityA team-builder who leads with presence and purpose

and thrives on structure and standardsYoull be comfortable collaborating with other departments, and hosting exceptional events whilst engaging with our guests.The restaurant is operational between Wednesday - Sundays, but we hold private hires across all 7 days
