Setting Out Engineer – Gatwick Airport

Project: RC Frame

We are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join an RC frame contractor on a project based at Gatwick Airport.

Duties will include:

• Setting out RC frame works including columns, walls, slabs and associated elements
• Carrying out surveys and level checks
• Reading and interpreting construction and reinforcement drawings
• Completing QA records and site documentation
• Checking works are completed accurately and to specification
• Working closely with the site management and engineering teams

Requirements:

• Previous setting out experience on RC frame projects
• Confident using total stations and surveying equipment
• Strong understanding of construction drawings
• Good QA and documentation experience
• Relevant engineering qualification
• CSCS card
• Airport experience preferred but not essential for the right candidate
