Overview

An asset manager is looking to hire an Investment Research Analyst to join the multi-manager investment team.This role will be involved in conducting ongoing investment due diligence on existing and potential new managers across a broad range of asset classes in public and private markets.Responsibilities

Produce ongoing investment due diligence on existing managers and conduct detailed research on additional or replacement strategiesConduct face-to-face meetings with fund managers and manage relationshipsParticipate in investment meetings, updating the team on any developments in the funds under your coverage and make recommendations for the suitability of managers to be included in the investment strategiesAssist with the analysis and management of portfolio and the underlying exposuresAssess new investment opportunities in the private markets space including both direct and co-investmentsPrepare investment and portfolio reportsRequirements

1-3 years relevant investment experience at either at an asset manager, asset owner or investment consultancyWorking towards CFA qualificationDegree educatedStrong analytical skillsAble to present written and verbal information in a clear and concise mannerAbility to be a team player in a collegial and collaborative working culture
