We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for travelling to building sites and refreshing portable toilet facilities.- Maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of the rules of the road.

Monday to Friday - temp to perm for the right candidate. 50 hours per week. Will include weekends during busy periods.

Own transport required due to location.

Duties

• Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations.
• Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence (class B) with a clean driving record.
• Happy to clean toilet facilities
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle .
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
