Job Duties:Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activitiesAssisting with the supervision of students in the classroom and around the schoolProviding one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or special needsHelping to prepare teaching materials and resourcesAssisting with classroom management and behaviour controlSupporting students in their learning and progressCommunicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff membersRequired Qualifications:GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and MathsLevel 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in SchoolsEnhanced DBS checkEducation, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:Previous experience working in a primary school settingKnowledge of the national curriculum and educational policiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team and independentlyPatience, empathy, and understanding towards studentsPreferred Qualifications:First Aid certificationExperience working with students with special educational needsAdditional qualifications in specific subject areasWorking Conditions:Temporary position with the possibility of extensionFull-time hours, Monday to FridayWorking in a primary school environmentCollaborating with teachers and other support staffAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
