Position Details:

• Location: Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire
• Start Date: October 2025
• Salary: From andpound;85 per day
• Contract Type: Full time, temp to perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning challenges.
• Assist pupils in accessing personalised curriculums aligned with their EHCPs.
• Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to deliver effective, student-centred support.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes both emotional and academic growth.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in an SEN school setting is desirable andndash; transferable experience from related sectors will be considered.
• Strong understanding of the needs of students with additional learning requirements, demonstrating patience and empathy.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours using de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour strategies.
• Proactive and adaptable approach when working within specialist educational environments.
