Finance Manager Location: Newport Salary: £43,000 £47,000 per annum doe Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm (1-hour lunch) Working Pattern: Fully office based The Role We are recruiting for an experienced and confident Finance Manager to join a busy and growing Group based in Newport. This is a hands-on, challenging role where you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance function across six companies within the Group, with a combined turnover of approximately £50 million. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will oversee a team of seven and play a key role in ensuring the finance department operates effectively, deadlines are met and accurate financial information is produced and presented to the FD. This role would suit a strong people manager who is confident communicating with colleagues across the business, enjoys a fast-paced environment and has previous experience managing a finance team. Key Responsibilities Manage and support a team of transactional staff, ensuring workloads are effectively managed, deadlines are met and any issues, errors or queries are identified and escalated appropriately.
