We have fantastic new opportunities to join us and support our d/Deaf service users in Blackburn. We are looking for confident Care and Support Workers with the passion to both deliver outstanding care, alongside play a role in empowering d/Deaf service users to access the same recovery opportunities as their hearing peers. You will be working Full time (42 hours per week) across a mixed shift pattern of 3/4 12 hour shifts per week with a focus on supporting our d/Deaf (profound, severe, partial or hard of hearing) service users with mental health needs, inside our new Deaf community step down setting in Blackburn. This role requires native British Sign Language usage or a minimum Signature Level 2 as it is a deaf service. About the service: Vincent Court is a five-bed community rehabilitation (level 1) service for deaf men who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at Cygnet Bury Dunes (Bridgehampton Ward). We also accept referrals from other high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) services, other Low Secure services as well as directly from the community.
