Under the direction of the Executive Chef, the Registered Dietitian is responsible for the procurement, preparation, and service of meals, as well as the general supervision of food service personnel. The Registered Dietitian will maintain a sanitary kitchen and dining room in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role includes completing nutritional assessments, processing diet orders, and ensuring compliance related to the nursing home dietary functions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review resident weights monthly or as needed, with appropriate documentation for compliance.Establish nutritional needs with appropriate diagnosis within the PDPM parameters.Ensure completion of assessment reports, progress notes, care plans, and correspondence within required timeframes.Document information required by authorities regarding the environment of care in a timely manner, working with culinary staff as needed.Ensure safe storage, use, preparation, and disposal of food and supplies in accordance with standards.Determine client diet needs and develop dietary plans in cooperation with the Registered Dietitian and physicians'' orders.Participate in Quarterly QAPI and Weekly Measures Program.Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition (RD). Completion of annual state-mandated training. Licensure in West Virginia and Ohio preferred.Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional, or West Virginia Dietitian License.Other Skills and Abilities
