Insurance Operations Technical Analyst Cheltenham (Hybrid c. 2 days/week) 55,000- 60,000 plus 10% max bonusWe are recruiting an Insurance Operations Technical Analyst on behalf of a confidential client within the UK insurance / reinsurance sector.This role sits within Operations and provides technical expertise across the full insurance lifecycle, supporting scheme participants, internal teams, and outsourced providers. You will act as a subject matter expert, with responsibility for operational controls, data quality, claims support, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities:Provide technical support across onboarding, eligibility, and claims settlement processesMonitor operational controls, risks, and service performance against agreed standardsAct as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and third-party vendorsTrack operational performance and lead continuous improvement initiativesSupport data quality improvements and systems development activityContribute to audits, regulatory obligations, and risk management activity Key experience required:Insurance or reinsurance operations experienceStrong understanding of underwriting, claims, and bordereaux processesExperience working with controls, operating procedures, and third-party suppliersStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to use data to support operational decision-making and improvement
