Taulia is in search of a collaborative and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting team. As an Accounting Manager, you will have proven your ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and complex environment. As the role requires operational diligence as well as a working understanding of accounting concepts, a mix of technical and functional education and experience is preferred. You should be able to independently tackle challenges and have a strong work ethic.Location:

Own an accounting area for all accounting and reporting activities, month-end closeContinuously work towards improving efficiency and accuracy of financial closeDocument processes and desk procedures for certain cycles as assignedResearch guidance, propose accounting treatment, and roll out the implementation for technical accounting mattersEstablish and implement processes and policies, as deemed necessary, to support existing business activities and growthStreamline, automate, develop, and implement best practice accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending and rolling out changes when neededDesign and launch new processes, operational and accounting, to support existing business activities based on Company’s growing needsContribute to establishing and strengthening internal control processes and procedures, including analysis, documentation, identifying and implementing improvementsEvaluate and implement new system tools and improvements, as deemed necessaryLiaise with internal business partners and cross-functional teams to gather data, improve processes, and support business needsCollaborate with team members to accomplish team’s and company goals and drive projects to completionConduct cross-functional projects as required, including the design of end-to-end processesReview work prepared by others, and provide guidance on improvementsCross-train with other team members to ensure coverage of accounting areas, as assignedContribute to projects, as assignedAd hoc analysis and reporting requestsSkills, Knowledge and Experience Required

Bachelor''s degree in a relevant field or 8+ years of accounting/finance work experiencePublic accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of Excel and financial accounting systems – NetSuite is preferred, SAP is a plusExperience with developing requirements, reviewing end-to-end processes, and contributing to and validating process and system design on implementations of financial reporting systemsExperience leading transformative projects to drive continuous improvementStrong end-to-end process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet established deadlinesEagerness to learn and expand into new areas of responsibilityExcellent time management and project management skillsSelf-starter who focuses on the goal at hand and sees projects through to completionAbility to partner effectively across all levels of the organizationStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic and positive attitudeStrong attention to detailA team playerRemote-friendly environmentCompany issued equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.)Career Development/PathingEAP Program/Mental Health AdvocacySupportive Work CultureAbout Taulia
