Our client, a leading Building Services company, is looking for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of multiple commercial buildings across the Northwest.

Job details:

• Perform planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and attend emergency breakdowns within a variety of commercial buildings.
• Work on AHU’s, pressurisation units, pumps, and various heating systems.
• Expertise in commercial gas repairs, servicing, and installations.
• Ensure compliance with current gas regulations and possess strong controls knowledge.
• Utilise plumbing skills and have a sound understanding of electrical safety.
• Must be willing to work out of hours when required and be part of the out of hours call out rota (1 in 15).

Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Commercial gas qualifications (Essential).
• Domestic gas knowledge (Preferred but not essential).
• 18th Edition qualification (Desirable).
• Experience in all aspects of commercial gas, servicing, repairs and installs.
• Experience with oil systems (Desirable).
• Good plumbing skills.
• Basic Electrical safety knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
