About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Operational Assets team in London. You will work alongside a highly experienced group of engineers and consultants who specialise in assessing, improving, and optimising building services within existing buildings across the UK and Europe. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, client engagement, and overseeing projects from early feasibility through to completion. Working closely with the Team Leader, you will deliver mechanical engineering consultancy services, prepare technical documentation, and support the smooth delivery of refurbishment, upgrade, and replacement projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical delivery of mechanical design services across multi-disciplinary projects. Produce high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, schedules, and reports. Provide strategic technical advice on the operation and optimisation of mechanical systems within existing buildings. Prepare fee proposals and support commercial management, including invoicing and WIP tracking. Deliver refurbishment and upgrade projects from inception through completion. Undertake condition surveys and produce detailed assessments with recommendations. Develop feasibility studies for mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades.
