OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias to work with a range of Mitie clients to provide a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical and mechanical disciplines. The role includes reactive and pro-active maintenance in line with project requirements for all operational equipment.

Responsibilities

Carry out modifications and installations when required.

Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimize reliability and maintainability.

Provide a service that ensures key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers as required.

Complete required paperwork and produce reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Work to high standards in line with current company policies and procedures; report any deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may affect service delivery, health and safety, or the environment.

Ensure own work and the work of those under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.

Qualifications and Skills

NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline) or equivalent, with up-to-date training where applicable.

Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974).

Willingness to undertake suitable training to acquire required competencies.
