Academics are currently recruiting for a fabulous Early Years Primary Teacher to support our partner primary schools located in the South Staffordshire regions. As an Early Years Primary Teacher, you play a vital role in supporting and setting up students for their primary school journey; the foundations are built for students during the Early Years and as a teacher it is your responsibility to ensure that children get the very best start! Your role as an Early Years Primary Teacher:

• Manage behaviour quickly and effectively in order to maintain and foster the best learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with; staff, parents and most importantly pupils.
• Marking work at the end of each day in order to assess and monitor progress; particularly in the Early Years assessing play and learning on a day-to-day basis is vital in ensuring progress is closely monitored.
• Planning may be expected when on a long term placements - the pay will reflect this added responsibility too.
• Enthusiasm to make a difference and support each child.
• A pro-active ''can - do'' attitude.
• Confidence in supporting different learning needs within the class, ensuring every child is pushed to their full potential.
• Confidence in being able to teach implement the Early Years framework.
