School Cleaner Required We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy School Cleaners to join our team. Successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Essential Requirements Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the DBS Update Service (mandatory). Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude. Understanding of health and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities As a School Cleaner, your duties will include: Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, meeting rooms, and communal areas. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors. Dusting and wiping down desks, furniture, and touch points. Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities. Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately. Replenishing toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene supplies. Cleaning internal glass, doors, and windows where required. Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns. Following cleaning schedules and school hygiene standards.
