We are recruiting an experienced Fabricator to support a busy new build marine project on a contract basis.

The Role:

• Fabrication of steel components and assemblies
• Working from engineering and fabrication drawings
• Marking out, cutting, shaping, fitting and assembling materials to specification
• Preparing fabricated sections for welding and installation
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards
• Supporting the project team to meet key build milestones

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fabricator within Marine, Shipbuilding, heavy engineering, structural steelwork, manufacturing, or a similar environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and workshop equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Contract Details:

• Approx. 2 month contract
• 60 hours per week available
• Immediate start
• -27.50/h
