Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner required

Specialist construction company who manufacture an array of bespoke joiner products. They are looking to recruit 2 skilled-Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner-to join their production team. The Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner-will be involved in the manufacture of high-quality furniture products from technical drawings through to final assembly, working closely with design and production teams.

Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner will be involved in:

• Manufacture bespoke and batch-produced wooden furniture to a high standard.
• Interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
• Work from CAD drawings and liaise with design teams where required.
• Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Assemble, fit and finish furniture products ensuring excellent quality standards.
• Assist with prototype development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Work closely with production colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Support quality control processes and ensure products meet customer specifications.

Cabinet Maker / Bench should have:

• Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker or similar.
• Background within a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and manufacturing drawings.
• Good understanding of woodworking machinery and production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive and proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
