Clinical Psychologist
Purpose: Providing clinical psychology and neuropsychology input within the neurobehavioral model to service users with acquired brain injury. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments using a range of tools and methods. Formulate and deliver evidence-based interventions to support neurorehabilitation and recovery. Coordinate care as keyworker/clinical lead and set SMART goals collaboratively with service users and the team. Provide individual, family, and group therapy using varied psychological models. Contribute specialist advice to multidisciplinary formulations and care plans. Undertake risk assessment and management from a psychological perspective. Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and data reporting. Offer psychological support and guidance to families and carers. Participate in on-call support as part of a rota. Engage in audits, service development, and research to promote evidence-based practice. Stay updated on developments in clinical and neuropsychological practice, particularly in neurorehabilitation.
