Your Role: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Lead mechanical and structural design of subsystems from concept through manufacturing release Produce 3D models, detailed drawings and structural/ thermal FEA calculations to ensure robust designs, design for manufacture (DFM) and continuous improvement are achieved Manage design validation, documentation and integration with performance, systems and manufacturing teams Champion professional standards of engineering integrity, safety and sustainability within the team (DNV, LR etc) Lead rapid resolution of design issues arising from manufacturing and supplier feedback to maintain delivery momentum Own engineering interface with international suppliers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and progress toward delivery Skills / Knowledge: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: A good degree in a relevant subject (e.g. mechanical / structural / marine engineering) Strong industry experience in either heavy structu
