Are you a qualified accountant with a practice background who''s successfully transitioned into industry? Do you have experience in the financial services sector and a passion for technical accounting and M&A? If so, this could be your next big move.A leading Financial Services company based in Reading is looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office) offering up to-90,000 and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, acquisitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Perform due diligence on potential acquisitions
• Support the end-to-end M&A process
• Prepare and review regulatory returns
• Manage and develop one direct report (a qualified accountant)

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained in practice
• Experience in the financial services sector (essential)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Confident working in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills
