Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping pupils overcome barriers to learning?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming school in Ipswich who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference to a pupil''s school experience, helping them to feel settled, supported and confident in their learning.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.

• Help pupils access learning and develop their confidence, independence and communication skills.

• Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs where required.

• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to provide consistent support.

• Help create a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Support pupils both academically and pastorally throughout the school day.

The school would be interested in hearing from Teaching Assistants who are:

• Patient, caring and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children.

• Experienced working with SEN / SEND, or keen to develop their experience in this area.

• Confident building positive relationships with pupils.

• Calm and consistent when supporting behaviour.

• A good team player who is happy to work closely with teachers and other professionals.

• Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a difference.

Previous school experience is highly desirable, although relevant experience supporting children or young people in other settings will also be considered.
