With a strong pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans, the business is continuing to strengthen its electrical design capability and offers excellent opportunities for technical and career development.Your new role As an MV/LV Electrical Design Engineer, you will deliver safe, compliant and cost-effective electrical network designs, primarily across 11kV and 433V systems.You will manage projects from initial enquiry through to design approval and handover, working closely with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, contractors and internal delivery teams.Key responsibilities will include:Designing MV and LV electrical distribution networksUndertaking point-of-connection assessments and developing compliant network solutionsProducing MV/LV network layouts, SLDs and cable routing drawingsDesigning substations, transformers and associated electrical distribution equipmentSupporting cable sizing, network calculations and desktop earthingProducing design packs for construction, adoption and handoverLiaising with DNOs, IDNOs, clients and contractors to secure design approvalsManaging design risks, assumptions and technical queriesEnsuring designs comply with ESQCR, G81, CDM Regulations and relevant DNO/IDNO standardsSupporting tendering, construction, commissioning and energisation activitiesProviding technical guidance to junior ..... full job details .....
