You would work within a collaborative team of optometrists with a number of special interests. Amongst the team is four IP qualified optometrists, a glaucoma diploma, specialist contact lens fitter, two trained orthoptists and a dyslexia specialist. This practice is fully supportive of optometrists developing their special interests, including support for higher qualifications and we actively encourage staff to spend part of the week in hospital work. Three of our optometrists also work within hospital ophthalmology departments, doing glaucoma, casualty, paediatric refraction and orthoptics clinics.
