Join a dedicated team supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within schools in the Wakefield Area. Providing personalised 1:1 and small-group support, you''ll play a key role in promoting emotional wellbeing, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping pupils build the confidence and skills they need to succeed both academically and personally. Who are we looking for? A successful candidate would: Have experience working in an educational setting, whether in mainstream schools, specialist provisions, or alternative provisions. Have experience supporting children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, including those who may present with additional behavioural, communication, or learning needs. Be confident, caring, patient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils. Demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting individual learning and development.
