This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transmission projects across the UK, contributing to innovative energy solutions.What you''ll be doing: Lead onshore and offshore HV cable FEED and detailed design works for major transmission projects. Support business growth by engaging with clients, identifying opportunities, and assisting in bid and proposal development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and project management, to deliver comprehensive project solutions. Attend site visits, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure project milestones are met. Mentor junior engineers and support internal capability development.What you''ll bring: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in HV cable system design, manufacture, testing, and installation. Familiarity with client standards such as National Grid, SPEN, and SSEN. Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills. Business development mindset with experience supporting strategic growth. Willingness to travel as needed.
