LOOKING TO SPEAK TO CANDIDATES WHO ARE ESTATES SURVEYORS FOR RETAIL OR HOSPITALITY COMPANYES AND MANAGED THER HIGH STREET PROPERTIES. Key Responsibilities: • Undertake the property management of a portfolio of shops • Monitor lease key dates and undertake rent reviews and lease renewals in a timely manner • Negotiate consents and permissions from 3rd parties (Landlords etc) • Ensure any disputes between Landlords and Tenants are resolved promptly with the minimum disruption and cost to the business • Liaise with other departments to resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently with the minimum disruption and cost to the business • Ensure landlord lease obligations are met, particularly in relation to repairs. • To take responsibility for the management of non-operational premises, including vacant properties, void spaces and commercial and residential sub-tenants • To be able to make and implement own decisions, balancing risks against benefits for the Company s long term financial objectives • Challenging and monitoring service charge statements and demands • To take responsibility for securing refunds or overpayments from third parties • To understand the commercial objectives of the company and to have a flexible approach to the working hours and a willingness to travel the
