You ll be interpreting sheet metal and engineering drawings to fabricate high-quality components using mild and stainless steel. MIG welding skills are highly desirable, and you''ll be working with a range of tools and machinery.Key Responsibilities:Read and work from detailed engineering drawingsFabricate components using mild and stainless steelTack welding required; MIG welding proficiency is a strong advantageOperate machinery including guillotines, brake presses, and overhead cranesInspect workpieces and report any defectsAdhere to all Health and Safety standards and complete daily housekeepingComplete required paperwork and assigned tasks to specification and deadlineWhat We re Looking For:Strong experience in sheet metal fabricationConfident in MIG welding (advantageous but not essential)Able to read technical drawings and welding symbolsProactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a teamGood verbal communication and a strong work ethicThe Work Environment:Workshop setting with occasional high noise levelsPPE must be worn (gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing/eye protection)Physically demanding: includes climbing, lifting, bending, and handling materialsWhy Join
