Production Operatives

Location: Shipley/ Baildon

Pay Rate: -13.76 per hour

Working hours - Rotating shift - all hours paid, breaks are paid

Contract Type: Ongoing temporary opportunity with permanent potential

Shift Pattern: Weekly rotating shifts - Morning and Afters with EARLY finish on Friday !!! 6am-2pm /2pm-10pm Fridays 6am-11am / 11am - 4pm

Manpower is recruiting Production Operators on behalf of a well established international manufacturing organisation. This is a hands on, shopfloor role within an industrial environment, suitable for candidates who are reliable, safety focused, and comfortable working in a physically active setting.

The Role
As a Production Operator, you will support the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.

Key duties include:

• Operating and monitoring industrial furnaces and production machinery
• Loading and unloading materials in line with manual handling guidelines
• Assembly work
• Performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Performing stock checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety policies and operating procedures
• Filling in paperwork / reports

About You
We are looking for individuals who are dependable and willing to learn, with a positive attitude towards shift work.

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or factory environment
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods and lifting products.
• Comfortable working in high temperature environments
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attendance, timekeeping, and teamwork skills

Desirable but not essential:

• Assembly experience
• Machine operating experience

Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)
Week 1

• Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am- short shift

Week 2

• Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Friday: 11:00am - 4:00pm - Short shift
