About the role Company is a civil engineering consultancy delivering highways, drainage and transport schemes for local authorities, developers and National Highways. We need a Highways Design Engineer to design safe, buildable road schemes from feasibility to construction. What you will do Design highway alignments, junctions, kerbing and road markings Produce Section 278 and Section 38 designs for developments Coordinate highway drainage design Prepare drawings, calculations and design reports in Civil 3D Respond to road safety audits and local authority technical approval Support schemes through construction, including site visits What you need Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or similar 3+ years in UK highways design Good knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets and local authority standards Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills Understanding of CDM regulations Nice to have Drainage design experience (MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage) Experience on National Highways or major road schemes IEng or CEng with ICE or CIHT, or working towards it ..... full job details .....
