Internal Sales Executive
We are working with a leading distributor within the construction and building materials sector, supplying insulation, roofing, and façade products across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy and high-performing branch team. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales performance and delivering a first-class customer experience. You will be responsible for converting enquiries into orders, managing customer relationships, and supporting the wider sales function. You will work closely with both internal teams and external customers to maximise sales opportunities and ensure smooth order delivery from enquiry through to completion.Responsibilities: Respond to inbound sales enquiries and provide accurate quotationsProactively follow up quotes to secure orders and maximise conversionsBuild and develop relationships with new and existing customersIdentify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell productsProvide accurate information on product availability, delivery times, and lead timesSupport project tracking and pipeline activityHandle customer queries and resolve issues efficientlyLiaise with suppliers, transport, and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilmentMaintain accurate records, pricing, and customer dataSupport credit control processes where required Skills: Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales supportStrong communication and negotiat
