About The RoleAre you enthusiastic and positive and enjoy bringing a group of people together through activities and songs?Do you have skill and experience with working with people affected by dementia to engage them in group situations? Join us as a Group Facilitator to provide a range of vibrant, supportive groups to our service users in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. You will be an instrumental part of facilitating and coordinating our Memory Cafes, Activity Groups and Singing for the Brain and other ad-hoc events. We have several, well established groups, but also there would be a great opportunity for the successful individual to develop and promote the less established to reach a wider number of people.The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and experienced team of Group Facilitators and dedicated volunteers. As a Group Facilitator you will be connected to the expert local teams of Dementia Advisers and Dementia Navigators.
