We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SEMH Support Worker to join a school we proudly support in High Wycombe, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who has experience supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and is committed to making a positive difference in their educational journey.

• Must have previous UK experience working within an SEMH setting or supporting pupils with SEMH needs.

• Proven experience working with children and young people displaying challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties.

• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.

• Confident in managing challenging situations using positive behaviour management strategies.

• Patient, resilient, empathetic and adaptable.

• Able to provide consistent emotional and behavioural support.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

• Previous UK experience in an SEMH or specialist educational setting is essential.

• An Enhanced DBS check is essential (Child Workforce).

• Must have the right to work in the UK from day one.

• A DBS registered on the Update Service is preferred.
