Finance Manager Runcorn, Cheshire Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Permanent, Full-time Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (early Friday finish) Working Pattern: Office-based An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands on Finance Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in Runcorn. Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a varied, hands-on role combining the management and development of a finance team with responsibility for monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and overseeing day-to-day finance operations. We are looking for a part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) with strong management accounts experience, proven team leadership skills and a proactive, commercially focused approach. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage and mentor the finance team, supporting their development and ensuring deadlines are achieved. Take ownership of the preparation, review and delivery of accurate monthly management accounts, including month-end processes. Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow projections and variance analysis. Provide meaningful financial information, KPI reporting and commercial insight to support business decisions. Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, banking and reconciliations.
