Service Manager

Job Title: Servicing ManagerLocation: HeyshamSalary: £41,600 (dependent on experience, with potential for increase)Job Type: Full-Time Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)This is an office-based role, requiring someone with a technical background and experience managing engineers. You will be responsible for scheduling, prioritizstion, and ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineer Management: Plan and oversee the workload of engineers, ensuring productivity and accountability. Customer Support: Handle inbound calls from customers experiencing technical issues. Determine whether support can be provided remotely or if an engineer visit is required.Planning and Coordination: Prioritise annual servicing, testing, and reactive maintenance. Work closely with the sales team and internal departments to coordinate jobs effectively.Process Improvement: Assess and overhaul current systems to improve efficiency in scheduling, reporting, and job completion.Customer Liaison and Reporting: Manage paperwork and reports from site visits, ensuring accuracy and prompt completion.
