They are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to work within a small and busy team of senior in-house lawyers. The individual carrying out this role will support the investment, operational and governance activities of the firm supporting stakeholders across all levels of seniority.Key responsibilitiesReviewing, negotiating and advising on contracts specific to investing and trading in public markets and securities (such as, counterparty terms of business, trading master agreements, securities lending agreements and custody agreements)Occasionally Advising on transactions relating to private investmentsReviewing, negotiating and advising on a broad range of service provider contracts relating to the firm’s operations, infrastructure and technology frameworkAd-Hoc regulatory advice as required.Experience requirements:A solicitor with between 7 year + post-qualification experienceThe successful candidate will have an in-house background working in financial services, ideally on the buyside.Experience in capital markets or experience with counterparties would be an advantage.A strong academic background (at least a Bachelor’s degree), with solicitor training completed in a top tier law firm.Due to the high volume of applications, if you haven’t heard back from the team on this role, unfortunately, your application has been unsuccessful.
