Warehouse and Yard Operator We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse and Yard Operator to join a leading energy industry client in Portlethen, Aberdeen. This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate. Working HoursMonday to Friday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMAbout the Role The Warehouse and Yard Operator will support day-to-day warehouse and yard activities, including receiving, storing, preserving, managing, and dispatching inventory and equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring safe material handling practices, and supporting efficient warehouse operations while adhering to HSE and quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, store, move, and dispatch inventory and equipment safely and efficiently.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within the warehouse and yard.Perform inventory counts, asset verification, and system transactions using SAP and/or Oracle.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely completion of warehouse transactions.Support logistics, workshop, and service delivery teams to facilitate on-time shipments and deliveries.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in line with HSE requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement, Lean, and 6S initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.Essential RequirementsMinimum 2 years of warehouse ..... full job details .....
