Myeloid Clinical Nurse Specialist Aplastic Anaemia/Bone Marrow Failure – King''s College Hospital NHS Foundation TrustThe post is part of a collaborative cancer patients improvement programme aimed to provide people with haematological cancers and myeloid diseases with an excellent experience of care and commitment to support cancer care as the trust''s top quality priorities.Responsibilities

To work as an expert Aplastic Anaemia/BMF nurse within cancer Multi-Disciplinary TeamTo manage a caseload of patients/clients effectively in accordance with agreed National and South East London Cancer Alliance (SELCA) guidance, protocols and pathways of careTo ensure that patients and their families are fully informed and supported by providing clinical, emotional, psychological and social assessment and support in accordance with Personalised Care StandardsTo assist in the development of evidence-based clinical nursing practice in line with current research and guidelinesTo establish clear lines of communication within the specialty team to ensure cohesive multidisciplinary management of patientsTo be integral part of established cancer team and specialist MDM, maintaining excellent communication to support coordinated care between sitesTo act as a patient advocate at cancer MDMTo link with healthcare teams in order to increase knowledge and facilitate the care of this group of people in the communityThe Trust provides a full range of local and specialist services across its five sites.
