Maintenance Engineer

Salary - Up to -55,000

Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off days and nights

Location - Nottingham

This an excellent opportunity with for a Maintenance Engineer to join an FMCG Manufacturer in Nottingham. You will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance across the site and providing a continuous improvement-based culture.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems
• Confidence with PLC fault finding
• Demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical principles.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the FMCG sector.
• Relevant qualifications in electrical/Mechanical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.).
• Experience in a similar role, such as (shift engineer, multi skilled engineer, engineering technician, shift technician, electrical maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
