Nursery practitioner Term time.

Holding a Level 2 or 3 (or above) in Early years childcare.

We are currently recruiting a Early Years Practitioner for our beautiful nursery and preschool near Dorking.

We cater for children from 1- 4 years with two dedicated classrooms.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children''s needs.
• Be able to have key person responsibility in the under 2''s room and carry out daily and individual planning.
• Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
• Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.

The ideal candidate will;

• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
• Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
• Ideally be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent (Higher) in Early years childcare. Alternatively have Early years childcare experience.
• Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages

We are a term time pre-school working 38 week per year. Hours ideally are 8-5pm . But we can discuss shorter days this can be working over 3 ,4 or 5 days per week.
