Parts Advisor/ Parts Supervisor

We are looking for a customer-focused Parts Advisor or Parts Supervisor-to join a busy automotive dealership based in Guildford. You will support retail, trade and workshop customers, ensuring parts are accurately identified, ordered and supplied efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle parts enquiries, identify the correct items and advise customers on availability, pricing and additional requirements.
• Process orders, raise invoices and ensure parts are picked and despatched accurately and on time.
• Source unavailable parts from alternative suppliers or dealerships.
• Keep customers informed of order progress and resolve any issues promptly.
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and develop sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure parts are stored and handled correctly.
• Deal with complaints professionally, escalating where necessary.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.

About You

• Previous experience in an automotive parts department, ideally within a main dealership.
• Experience using Kerridge or a similar dealer management system is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full, clean driving licence.
