Location: South East London
Contract: 3 months - potential for extension
Rate: £375 per day (Umbrella)

We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Surveyor to join a local authority in South East London on an initial 3-month contract, with a high chance of extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across a varied portfolio of social housing properties, identifying fire safety risks and providing clear recommendations for any required remedial works.

Key Responsibilities
·Carry out Fire Risk Assessments across a range of residential and social housing buildings.
·Identify fire safety hazards, deficiencies and areas requiring remedial action.
·Assess fire safety measures including means of escape, fire doors, compartmentation, detection systems and emergency lighting.
·Produce clear, accurate and comprehensive FRA reports.
·Provide professional fire safety advice where required.
·Undertake additional surveys, inspections and associated duties in line with the role.

Requirements
·Tier 2 Fire Risk Assessor - essential.
·Strong experience completing Fire Risk Assessments.
·Social housing or residential property experience.
·Good knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation and guidance.
·Strong reporting and communication skills.
