Job role / duties

• Prepare and process import and export documentation.
• Coordinate shipments with hauliers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers and customers.
• Assist with customs clearance and ensure documentation meets all relevant requirements.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates where required.
• Check the accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and customs documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth movement of goods.
• Investigate and resolve delivery, documentation and shipment issues.
• Ensure all import and export procedures comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Provide general administrative support to the Transport Operations and Planning Manager and wider logistics team

To be considered for this role you MUST:

• Possess experience in an import and export, freight forwarding, customs, shipping or logistics role.
• Understand import and export procedures and documentation.
• Be an excellent coordinator and administrator.
• Have excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Be highly organised, able to prioritise and work well under pressure.
• Have proven ability using Microsoft Office
• Be professional, reliable and have a proactive approach.
