An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant / Conveyancing Secretary to join a well-established law firm specialising in personal injury, medical negligence, and family law.As aConveyancing Assistant / Conveyancing Secretary,you will assist solicitors and conveyancing executives with client communication, document preparation and the day-to-day administration of residential property files.Salary: from £24,479 plus benefits.You will be responsible for:Responding to client enquiries by telephone, email and in person.Reviewing incoming correspondence and identifying actions for fee earners.Updating clients, solicitors, estate agents and referrers using spreadsheets and online portals where appropriate.Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and standard correspondence.Saving documents promptly and maintaining accurate, up-to-date electronic case files.What we are looking for:Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Property Secretary, Property Legal Secretary, Conveyancing Administrator or in a similar role.Approx 1 year experience in customer service and administration.Experience working in residential conveyancing.Strong administrative skills, with the ability to work independently and use initiative.Excellent attention to detail and a responsible approach to confidential information.The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.A proactive, organised and supportive approach to ..... full job details .....
