What will the temporary Assistant Management Accountant role involve?

• Supporting the Financial Controller and Management Accountant in delivering accurate financial reporting
• Assisting in maintaining robust management accounts, including variance analysis and presentation of results to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making
• Handling overhead and specific cost area accounting, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations, to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Liaising with branches and external partners to streamline financial processes, sales, and collections, contributing to team efficiency and client satisfaction
• Contributing to continuous process improvements and assisting during periods of absence to maintain workflow consistency

Suitable Candidate for the temporary Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:

• Ability to support financial processes, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with branch teams, external partners, and senior management
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes, with a flexible attitude towards varied responsibilities
• Basic understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting practices preferred
