Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

The opportunity is unique with the company working on some high profile projects in multiple sectors so no two jobs will be the same.

Responsibilities
andbull; Interpret project requirements from drawings and brief.
andbull; Liaise with Project Managers, clients, sub-contractors to ensure smooth design and install process .
andbull; Attend design team meetings and project meetings
andbull; Monitor design progress in accordance with the programme/deadline.
andbull; Produce design calculations, analysis manually and with the aid of software packages.
andbull; Produce design sketches.
andbull; Adopt a flexible attitude to projects and design.
andbull; Help to manage and develop less experienced engineers working on the same projects as you

Requirements
andbull; Ideally 5 yearsandrsquo; experience in Building Services Design
andbull; Successful experience of technical management and development of commercial projects (offices, housing projects, schools, hospitals etc)
andbull; Experience of using AutoCad and desirably 3d modelling software also
andbull; A broad knowledge of mechanical design and desirably experience andldquo;on the toolsandrdquo;
andbull; A creative way of working
andbull; Desire to work, learn and share ideas with some of the best consultants in the Country
andbull; Educated to HND/HNC level as a minimum
