Job Description:

• Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 andamp; KS4), with a focus on Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Inspiring students through practical investigations, scientific modelling, and real-world applications of science
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and scientific literacy
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress using formative and summative strategies, and providing targeted feedback
• Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular STEM clubs, science fairs, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching Science at secondary level within the UK education system (Desirable but not essential)
• Be passionate about the scientific method, and skilled in making complex concepts accessible and exciting
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching practices
• Hold a current enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
