Procurement Specialist Opportunity! Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 Job Summary: We are currently representing a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer based at their site in East Yorkshire, who are expanding their procurement team to support continued business growth. Main Duties: Support the development of the Procurement strategy and lead tenders, RFQs, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations. Manage sourcing and ongoing category management to optimise spend and maximise value. Negotiate commercial terms and ensure robust contracts in collaboration with legal and procurement teams. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance and driving improvements. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand needs, challenge existing approaches, and develop better sourcing solutions. Deliver continuous improvements in cost, service, and quality year on year. Person Specification: An understanding of contract law and commercial agreements. Experience managing indirect spend Solid understanding of contract law and commercial agreements Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in resolving procurement challenges. Strong stakeholder management skills. CIPS qualified or working towards
