Junior Android Engineer - Cambridge - Fast-growing Tech Start-Up

A design-led, forward-thinking tech company has recently expanded to Cambridge and is looking for a Junior Android Engineer to join their world class growing mobile team, mostly coming from University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, and Imperial College London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative Android applications from the ground up, tackling a wide variety of challenges - from creating smooth, responsive user interfaces to optimising performance and integrating with cutting-edge backend systems.

You’ll gain hands-on experience from day one, working closely with senior engineers, designers, and product teams in a highly collaborative environment. The focus is on clean, maintainable code, creative problem-solving, and delivering apps that users love.

You'll ideally:

• Come from a strong academic track record from the top UK universities in Computer Science or other STEM subjects such as Physics or Mathematics.
• Some experience with Android development (academic, personal projects, or internships)
• A passion for building great user experiences
• Eagerness to learn, experiment, and grow as a developer
